Giuliano was the younger brother of Lorenzo the Magnificent, the renowned ruler of Florence during the Italian Renaissance. Known for his good looks and athleticism, he tragically met his end at the age of 25 when he was assassinated in the infamous Pazzi Conspiracy of 1478. Stabbed 19 times, Giuliano's death left a lasting mark on history. In honor of his memory, Michelangelo, who was closely connected to the Medici family, sculpted a statue of Giuliano to adorn his tomb.
